X gonna give it to ya
Xbox started off with the Xbox E3 2018 Press Conference with the one we were all hanging for… Halo. From there it was 50 games, with 18 exclusives and 15 premieres. The charismatic Phil Spencer kept his word and it was a stellar show.
Plus, we were told how 5 studios are becoming part of the Microsoft family.
There was chat about how Fast Start will allow us to play our games quicker.
Even a tease about the next Xbox.
Then the finale’ which is all everyone will talk about.
You can check out the highlights below.
Powered by the Slipspace Engine. Jono is crying right now.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
More incredible Metroidvania action. Play the first if you haven’t.
SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice
Japanese Dark Souls by FROM SOFTWARE. It’s not Bloodborne 2 as Ben was hoping, but his reaction was priceless all the same.
Todd Howard was on stage to show off Fallout 76, as well as an AVAILABLE NOW moment in Fallout 4 being available on Xbox Game Pass.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
Very distinct Life is Strange style, a very cool looking game set in the imagination of a young boy. Plus, FOR FREE. June 26.
Terry Crews in game with the craziness you were hoping for. Looks like the best kind of big, dumb, fun.
NieR: Automata – Become as Gods Edition
Coming to Xbox with all previous DLC and Xbox One enhanced. Have you heard I like this game. I don’t. I love it.
Kingdom Hearts 3
On the Xbox stage? What bizzaro world is this? Seriously though, Disney movies abound. To quote Ben, “Who’d be mad at Mickey Mouse?”
Sea of Thieves
A look at what’s to come. Will us at VERSUS PLAYER get back into it? Probably not. But for those of you who enjoyed it, looks like the content will keep coming.
Story trailer showed off. Looks like they are going dark.
Forza Horizon 4
Forza hits Britain, so it won’t be as good as 3 as Australia kicks Britain’s backside in any and everything. Dynamic weather now includes snow and multiplayer goes massive.
Oh, and included in Xbox Game Pass. I love this trend.
We Happy Few
The game us Aussies won’t be playing. Man oh man I like the look of this!
New map and modes shown off. Will it take back the title from For… I can’t even finish typing that 😉
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
More anime style goodness coming your way.
The Division 2
The trailer is truly a Tom Clancy joint. People talking over stylised text.
Then the game-play clip was shown off with people full role-playing the game in multiplayer. Because that’s how everyone talks when they play online.
Sizzle Reel for ID@Xbox
Very cool games thrown in the mix there, including more Super Meat Boy.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Can. Not. Wait.
So it wasn’t Skate 4… You could tell by the applause. Looks cool, but lots of disappointed people out there I’m sure.
The MMORPG is coming to Xbox.
Devil May Cry 5
The crazy antics are back.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course
More Cuphead with DLC on the way. Yes yes yes!
Looks cute. Has a Monument Valley cross Zelda vibe.
We’ll find out who is the strongest anime character. Pumped to see more character reveals.
Dying Light 2
Another very cool looking game. Bags not living in that world.
Nothing really shown, just that they are back!
Just Cause 4
Started off feeling very serious. Then ended how only Just Cause can.
Mobile phone Gears game? Characters are Pop Vinyls? A kids friendly Gears of War? Sure, why not.
XCom of War. YES!!!
You want Gears of War? We have all the Gears of War!
That’s how you do a “One more thing” moment! DUDE!
